We Don't Aim for Perfection...

We Aim for Progress...

Move FORWARD With Your First Step Below.

When our child is hurting, we hurt too.

The sleepless nights. The worry. The exhaustion. Wondering what to say—or not to say.

Families and individuals come to me for many different reasons. Some are navigating anxiety, ADHD, unhealthy coping, eating disorders, family conflict, or estrangement.

Others simply know something feels off. Their child doesn't seem like themselves. Communication has changed. The pressure keeps building. They want to make sense of what's happening before it grows into something bigger.

People don't struggle because they're weak. They struggle because the pressure they're carrying outweighs their ability to cope.

Behavior is rarely the whole story. It's often the message.

Together, we'll make sense of what's happening, understand what's beneath the behavior, and help you discover your next step FORWARD—so you can respond differently, stop repeating patterns that no longer serve your family, and move FORWARD with greater clarity and confidence.

You might be noticing...

  • Walking on eggshells
  • More distance or shutdown
  • Tension or ongoing conflict
  • Constant overwhelm or exhaustion
  • Avoidance or procrastination
  • Changes in eating or other coping behaviors
  • Feeling like nothing is helping

These struggles rarely appear overnight.

Behavior is often a clue that something deeper is happening beneath the surface.

Often, healthy stress quietly becomes unhealthy pressure. When the pressure we're carrying outweighs our ability to cope, our thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behaviors begin to change.

Families Don't Need Lower Standards.

They Need a Healthier Definition of Success.

Too often, pressure grows when success becomes tied to achievement instead of our values, strengths, interests, and purpose.

Together, we'll make sense of what's happening by understanding what's beneath the behavior so you can reduce pressure without lowering standards, strengthen connection, build healthier ways of coping, and move FORWARD.

🌸 About Me

You're exhausted. You're worried. And you're not sure what to do next.

I understand that, both personally and professionally.

I'm Siah Fried, Parent & Family Coach, Master of Public Health (MPH), and National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC).

For more than 30 years in public health, education, and coaching, I've helped parents, teens, young adults, and families navigate mental health challenges and life's hardest seasons. Along the way, I've learned that lasting change begins when things finally start to make sense.

I didn't just study today's mental health challenges, I watched the mental health epidemic unravel in real time. I listened to thousands of teens, young adults, parents, and families as they experienced these challenges. Those conversations shaped the way I coach today.

As a parent myself (and certainly not a perfect one—just ask my kids), I've faced many of the same questions, worries, and uncertainties. My own family's journey, including three generations of eating disorders, reinforced something I had already seen throughout my career.

That understanding became the foundation of my evidence-based Move FORWARD Framework.

Today, I help parents, teens, young adults, and families make sense of what's happening so they can reduce pressure without lowering standards, build healthier ways of coping, strengthen relationships, and move FORWARD with greater confidence and hope.

You don't have to figure this out alone.

Together, we'll make sense of what's happening, discover your next step FORWARD, and build a path that feels steadier, healthier, and more connected.

NO BLAME. NO SHAME. JUST FORWARD.

Family • Flow • Fit

Every family is different.

That's why I don't believe in one definition of success or one path that works for everyone.

At the heart of the Move FORWARD Framework are three simple principles that help families reduce pressure without lowering standards and create a healthier, more sustainable way forward.

Family

Clarify what matters most so your decisions reflect your family's values, not someone else's expectations.

Flow

Recognize where each person's strengths, interests, and passions come together so life feels more meaningful and less driven by pressure.

Fit

Make choices that align with who you are, helping each family member thrive in a way that fits their unique strengths, values, and purpose.

Together, these principles help families reduce pressure, strengthen connection, and redefine success in a way that truly fits.
