BOOK A CALL

Behavior, whether it’s yours or your child’s, is trying to tell you something. I help families understand what it’s saying, and what to do next.

The sleepless nights. The exhaustion. The worry. Not knowing how to help or what to do to ease your child's or your own pain. When our child hurts, we hurt too.

I've spent 30 years educating in health clinics, teaching in college classrooms, and observing high school hallways, watching the mental health epidemic unfold in real time on real families.

I know what helps and what doesn't

5 Pressure-Relieving Shifts That Help Overwhelmed Parents, starting today!!

When our child is hurt and struggling, we hurt and struggle too.

You might be noticing……...

    • Walking on eggshells
    • More distance or shutdown
    • Tension or conflict
    • Constant overwhelm or exhaustion
    • Avoidance or procrastination
    • Changes in eating or other coping patterns
    • Feeling like nothing is helping

What you’re noticing isn’t random.
It is often a sign that something deeper is going on beneath the surface.

In many families, healthy stress quietly shifts into harmful pressure.

When achievement starts to feel tied to worth, the nervous system moves into survival mode, and coping patterns begin to change.

You do not need to lower standards. You need a different lens.

You might start to see:

  • more anxiety or tension
  • perfectionism or shutdown
  • avoidance or procrastination
  • emotional eating or other coping patterns
  • disconnection from self, family, or purpose

Unhealthy coping does not appear overnight. They often build slowly when pressure replaces connection, meaning, and emotional support.

🌸 About Me

You're exhausted. You're worried. And you're not sure what to do next. I get that personally and professionally.

I'm Siah Fried, Parent and Family Coach, NBC-HWC, MPH. Clients don't come to me just for what's happening. They come to me to understand why, and what to do about it.

What makes me different is 30 years on the ground, educating in clinics, teaching in college classrooms, and observing in high school hallways, watching the mental health epidemic unfold in real time on real people. I didn't just study these challenges. I witnessed them. I lived them. As a parent myself, not a perfect one, just ask my kids, I've been in the trenches alongside parents and students as everything changed around us. I never sat by and watched. I listened, I reflected, and I took action. I heard what was helping families move forward and I could see what was contributing to their pain. That's what drove me to create the Move FORWARD Framework.

That depth of experience is why clients choose me. They know I've seen it all, and I meet them exactly where they are without blame or shame.

Drawing on that experience and my evidence-based Move FORWARD Framework we look at the whole picture, the behavior, the pressure underneath it, and the personal strengths, values and challenges unique to each person, and build a sustainable personalized path forward grounded in research-backed tools.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO FIGURE THIS OUT ALONE.

Together we'll slow things down, make sense of what's happening, and find a way forward that feels more steady, connected and sustainable.

NO BLAME. NO SHAME. JUST FORWARD.
